This is a full time position in Andover MA.  The company is a world leader in medical diagnostic equipment.

Experienced, independent and driven C++ software engineer with strong command utilizing RTOS kernels, Windows NT/ 2000 and some UNIX  OS.

DEVELOPMENT ENVIRONMENT CONSISTS OF:
Windows XP application development and low-level UI design
MFC, Win32, ActiveX, COM, GDI+, XML
Visual Studio, ClearCase, ClearQuest, Purify
Full lifecycle development
Object-oriented and module architecture design

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

The candidate will be a senior member of a team developing a real time component for Windows-based, next generation devices. The candidate responsibilities will include: requirements analysis, the design and implementation of various software components, and supporting the integrating of these components into new products.

The job requires strong communication skills and ability to work both in a team as well as individually. The candidate must be a strong team player, able to meet deadlines and handle changing priorities.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
BS in Computer Science or equivalent design and programming experience.
5+ years of software development experience.
Strong C++ / C # Object Oriented Design skills

DESIRED SKILLS NOT REQUIRED:
Windows XP Internals
Some Windows Driver experience desirable, but not required
Strong debugging / performance analysis skills (Example: Rational Purify/Quantify, etc.)
Experience of having gone through at least one full product development cycle highly desirable.
Some middleware experience desirable, but not required

Knowledge of the Rational toolset (ClearCase, ClearQuest).
Requirement management we use Telelogic DOORS.

Emphasis on trouble shooting code, as well as design and development of testing strategies. Skill at diagnosing system problems, debugging source code.

Good understanding of build environments, integrating code. Good interpersonal skills for working between groups.
