This publicly held company with refining operations in 26 countries, 43,000 retail sites in more than 100 countries, and lubricants marketing in almost 200 countries is currently adding additional local route drivers for morning and afternoon shifts at their Inwood, NY terminal. This Fortune-500 company is the world’s largest international oil and gas company.

Overview
Drivers deliver petroleum products to retail stations within 50-mile radius of Inwood terminal. Drivers average 3-5 loads per day. Mornings shift begins between 3:30am-5:30am. Afternoon shift begins between 3:00pm-5:30pm. Drivers must be available for either shift until assigned permanent route. This is a union position and drivers have ability to bid on permanent schedule once a year or once every two years. Drivers work four 10-hour shifts per week. Drivers average 45-50 hours per week with overtime after 10 daily & 40 weekly. Tanker experience preferred but not required. Paid training is provided. Drivers are assigned late model equipment in excellent condition. All tractors are automatic.

Compensation
$22.97 per hour to start
$23.72 per hour after 4/30/2008
$0.50 per hour shift differential for afternoon shift
Annual average salary $57,000 - $65,000
