| Duties |
In the Arabic language produce TV shows and news reports on regional and international events. Produce discussion programs, current affairs magazines and features on a variety of subjects including health and personal fitness, entertainment, sports, fashion, science and technology.
Deliver quality TV newscasts that inform, entertain and increases audience while adhering to journalistic standards
Manage the newsroom as a senior level TV broadcasting executive
Play a key role in the editorial process and all assigned TV newscasts, breaking news, special news event programming, news gathering and production
Responsible for overall decision making about story selection, live shots, breaking news coverage and newscast formatting for assigned TV broadcasts.
This Executive Producer supervises TV producers; provides training, mentoring, critiquing and evaluations of producers, correspondents and TV anchors.

| Required |
Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience (U.S. or U.K. based experience/journalism education desired).
Seven (7+) years of TV production experience.
A minimum of five (5) years of TV news management experience is required.
Outstanding leadership skills, high production standards and a drive to excellence.
News/editorial judgment focused on in-depth, balanced, quality storytelling that is void of advocacy.
Fluency in Classical Arabic (reading, writing, speaking) or extensive experience supervising Arabic speaking production staff related to the region.
Solid planning and execution skills with a great attention to detail
A proven ability to attract and develop TV talent required to produce quality news programming relevant to the Middle East.
The ability to work effectively with other departments within the TV station to gain internal consensus.
Strong familiarity with legal risk management issues in TV news broadcasting.
Outstanding writing abilities.
Strong computer skills, including MS Word and Excel, Internet applications, and advanced news content systems such as Cinegy and ENPS.
A willingness to "roll up your sleeves" to achieve goals and teach staff members to do the same through example.
A passion for high-quality journalism and the energy and commitment to be a leader at a 24/7 global TV news network.
A broad working knowledge of the Middle East and North Africa, superior attention to details, and a calm demeanor under pressure.
