Duties

The Fiduciary Tax & Accounting Manager is responsible for reviewing and managing the preparation of estate tax returns, gift tax returns, fiduciary tax returns and accountings for estates and trusts.

• Resolve issues pertaining to the administration of trusts and estates.
• Interface with attorneys in the firm, bank officers and other counsel on issues concerning the administration of trusts and estates, fiduciary accounting and tax matters.
• Supervises the work of several fiduciary tax accountants.
• Perform other duties as assigned

Required

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• 7 to 10 years of relevant work experience in a mid to large law firm or accounting firm.
• Must have experience in administering trust and estates and preparing estate and gift tax returns, fiduciary income tax returns, probate papers, and accountings for estates and trusts.
• Must have excellent communication, interpersonal, analytical, organizational and managerial skills. Must be detail oriented and able to work under pressure
