BAR DECOY SHOP

WE WILL PAY YOU $20 FOR CONDUCTING THIS SHOP AND FILLING OUT SIMPLE SURVEY. WE WILL ALSO PAY YOU UP TO $20 FOR YOUR REIMBURSED EXPENSES AT THE BAR!

IT IS MANDATORY THAT EITHER YOU OR A GUEST BE IN THE AGE RANGE OF 21 TO 25 YEARS IN ORDER TO CONDUCT THIS SHOP.   PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU OR A GUEST CANNOT MEET THE AGE REQUIREMENT FOR THIS SHOP.

This is a Bar Decoy shop that is VERY easy to perform and has a VERY short report to complete.  The purpose of this shop is to see if the Bartender asks for ID from the Decoy Shopper before an alcoholic beverage is served.  You only have to spend 10 - 15 minutes in the bar, but can stay longer if you wish.

1)  Shopper or guest must be 21 to 25 years of age – a copy of the identification for whomever is the Decoy Shopper must be scanned and uploaded to the survey OR faxed to 888-222-8302 OR e-mailed to reports@mercsurveys.com.

2)  Decoy Shopper must order an alcoholic drink from the Bartender, although it is not required that the drink be consumed.  You can appear to drink and then discard the drink on the way to the restroom if you do not wish to drink the alcoholic beverage.

3)  You must sit at the bar and pay cash for your order. 

4)  You may complete the assignment alone OR bring one guest.

5)  A receipt must be obtained in order for the shop to be valid.  If you are not given a receipt, ask for one.  If you are still not given a receipt, then submit the report with an explanation of your attempt to obtain the receipt.

6)  If you see name tags on the employees, you MUST obtain their names. If you don't see a name tag, then we MUST have a description of the employee.
