Job Description:

A Job Coach conducts a variety of group activities and/or provides instruction in employment or pre-employment job skills. An incumbent in this class observes participant performance and progress and provides input into individual participant training plans. Work is performed under the supervision of the Director of Employment Services.

Description of duties include, but not limited to:

Observes participant’s performance and progress and provides input into individual participant training plans;
Assists in development of participant IP, attends IP’s, implements IP goals and objectives;
Assists in assessing job requirements through task analysis;
Assists in providing support to the participant job skills and work habits on the job site;
Ensures the safety and security of participants in his/her care;
Enters data into participant files;
Writes reports on activities of observed participant behavior;
Keep current attendance of assigned participants.
