Seeking Heavy Duty Truck Mechanics in the San Antonio, TX area!
This publicly held company with refining operations in 26 countries, 43,000 retail sites in more than 100 countries, and lubricants marketing in almost 200 countries is currently adding additional heavy-duty truck mechanics at their San Antonio, TX terminal. This Fortune-500 company is the world’s largest international oil and gas company.

Overview
Mechanics will be responsible for performing all required maintenance functions on both, power units and trailers. Mechanics will maintain fleet records and requirements according to company and regulatory guidelines. Shift begins at 8:00am, Monday thru Friday with rare Saturdays. Mechanics typically average 8-9 hours per day with overtime after 40 hours per week. Mechanics may be "on call" after hours and on off days. This is a union position. Air conditioning experience and ASE Certification is preferred but not required.

Compensation
$23.56 per hour

Requirements
3 yrs experience performing heavy-duty truck & trailer repairs
CDL A license
“H” (hazmat) and “N” (tanker) endorsements
Must have own tools
Liquid bulk tanker experience preferred but not required
Air conditioning experience preferred but not required
ASE certification preferred but not required
Black steel toe boots
