Corporate Tax Planning Manager, Birmingham, AL, to $115K

Industry leader in the production of construction aggregates has opening for senior corporate tax professional. The Tax Planning Manager will be responsible for federal, state and international tax projects, research, tax planning and federal audit support. Requirements include B.S. degree in accounting with 8+ years of corporate tax experience in a large accounting firm and/or large public company environment; Current CPA license preferred; Advanced degree a plus. Experience with industry tax issues, such as depletion, Section 199, tax-deferred like-kind exchanges, depreciation, and capitalization vs. issues, is strongly preferred. Position reports to the VP of Tax. Relocation assistance provided for the right individual!
