Gourmet Coffee Attendant (Starbuck’s Barista) – 1 Full Time Position

Job ID No. 555554:  1 FT, AM/PM

Barista for the Starbuck’s outlet, serving coffee and Starbuck’s products.  May also be assigned to assist in restaurants as needed.  Serve food and Starbuck’s beverages to guests. Complete opening and closing duties including setting up necessary supplies and tools, cleaning all equipment and areas, locking doors, etc. Set up, stock, and maintain work areas. Input orders into cash register system and collect payment from customer. Take orders, record in MICROS system and prepare food and coffee beverages. Ensure that appliances (e.g., coffee makers) are turned on/off at the appropriate times. Bus coffee cart areas and tables. Clean dishes, utensils, work areas, tables and equipment throughout the day. Obtain change required for expected business level. Count bank at end of shift, complete designated cashier reports, resolve any discrepancies, drop off receipts, and secure bank.   Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others and support team goals. Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time.  Great hospitality, verbal communication, and customer service skills required.  Prior foodservice or related experience required, including cashiering and serving food and drinks. Starbuck’s or coffee shop experience highly preferred. Must be available to work a flexible Full Time schedule rotating days and AM/PM shifts including weekends and holidays as business demands (5:30 am start time for day shifts).  Competitive hourly wages with a full benefits package (medical, dental, vision, retirement, tuition reimbursement, food and room discounts, annual merit increases, and more).
