Lobby Attendant (Housekeeping) - Full-Time

Clean and maintain lobby and public areas of the hotel. Clean public and employee restrooms and showers. Clean glass in public and employee areas. Clean floor surfaces in public or employee space using designated chemicals, supplies, and equipment. Clean exercise rooms and equipment  and locker rooms. Dust surfaces in assigned areas. Empty trash containers, ashtrays, and ash urns in public areas into proper containers. Inspect condition of furniture for tears, rips, and stains and report damages. Clean and maintain lights. Post caution signs to limit traffic when necessary. Respond promptly to requests from guests and other departments. Support team goals. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than 10 pounds without assistance.  Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time.  Interacts with guests in a courteous and efficient manner, and must have an eye for detail and high standards of cleanliness. Good verbal communication skills to communicate effectively with managers, co-workers and guests; second language a plus. Some heavy lifting required. Previous experience in housekeeping/cleaning/ custodial work with knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques (stripping/waxing/ mopping/vacuuming/carpet cleaning, etc.) preferred; hotel experience preferred. Must be available to work a flexible full time schedule rotating PM shifts (3PM-11PM) and days, including weekends and holidays.
