Summary

Bristol Environmental & Engineering Services, Corporation is seeking an entry level Environmental Scientist to assist with the preparation of reports in accordance with the requirements of the NEPA, ASTM, or other federal, state, and local environmental compliance regulations.  The successful candidate will be a critical thinker, well organized and self-motivated.  This position requires the ability to work in a team in order to complete complex environmental projects. 

Essential Functions

The Environmental Scientist assists the Environmental Permitting Team with tasks such as:

1.  Preparing NEPA Documents, Environmental Assessment, Phase I Environmental Site Assessments and Categorical Exclusions

2.  Producing Environmental Permit Applications

3.  Assisting with Wetland Delineations

4.  Performing Field Sampling as necessary including Water Quality, Vegetation, Soils and Groundwater

5.  Organizing Permit Requirements

6.  Assisting Clients with Permit Compliance

Physical Demands

Work is primarily office with some field work that may include extensive walking, cold weather, and carrying some weight.
