Truck Driver


Job Description:

Seeking CDL B Delivery Drivers in the Charlotte, NC area! 

This regional distributor of commercial grade building materials is seeking experienced CDL-B drivers. Due to its continuous growth, this privately owned company is expanding its driver fleet at its terminal in the Charlotte, NC area. Join this elite team of professional drivers transporting parts and supplies for the commercial interior and exterior industry. 

Overview
This position will start as a Driver/Warehouse position with the opportunity of becoming a full time driver position for the right candidate. Driver will be delivering building materials such as cement, stucco and other exterior finishes. Driver will report in the morning to the warehouse and assist in loading trucks then, in the afternoon, will make deliveries. Morning shift begins at 7:00am. Drivers work Monday thru Friday and average 10 hour per day. Drivers average 2 stops per day. Drivers unload materials using a moffett. Overtime is paid after 40 hours per week.

Compensation
$14.00 per hour
Overtime after 40 hours weekly

Requirements
CDL B w/airbrakes
1 year commercial driving experience required
Moffett experience
NC Forklift Certificate
Good MVR
