Engineering Specialist I (System Safety) Job Description: Candidate must be able to perform and/or assess hazard analyses to assure that: hazards of ARES I Upper Stage (Liquid Oxygen/Liquid Hydrogen powered) are identified, the risks characterized, controls identified, and safety verification requirements are clearly identified. The successful candidate will be required to make presentations to technical boards, management review teams, and clients. Skills: Minimum of 10 years relevant experience. Familiar with System Safety analysis techniques including fault trees, and hazard analysis. Must be proficient using Microsoft Word. Experience with CAFTA a plus. Education: BS Eng or AST Equiv 10 yrs relevant exp. Demonstrated aerospace S&M&QA technical expertise may serve in lieu of minimum education requirements Requires US Citizenship & National Agency Check EOE/M/F/V/D
