Duties

One of the World's most respected law firms is seeking an exceptional Executive Legal Secretary to report to a noted TAX Partner in their New York City headquarters located Midtown Manhattan.

The partner is a true gentleman and he is seeking a person who can work with some of the most influential financial executives in U.S. multinational financial institutions.

This position entails organizing and maintaining a very busy executive who deals with highly confidential information pertaining to domestic and international affairs.

Required

• Solid experience in a related legal area as a legal executive assistant, legal administrative assistant or legal executive secretary to a senior most executive in a law firm or financial institution.
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to interface with senior most executives internal and external to the organization
• Experience maintaining highly confidential information
• Exceptional communication skills
• A strong sense of social decorum
• Outstanding secretarial and PC skills
• Must have TAX, FINANCE or LITIGATION legal secretarial experience

Required

• A minimum of 2-5 years of legal secretarial experience in a law firm or financial company
• Solid experience with Microsoft Word and general PC acumen
• Experience interfacing with high level clients.
• Must be organized, detailed and good with follow up.
• Experience maintaining confidential information
• Good communication skills
• A good sense of social decorum
• A person seeking a long term professional relationship with a senior level legal executive
