APPLICATIONS ENGINEER

We have a full time, permanent position specializing in:
*Building Automation
*Performance Contracting
*Energy Monitoring & Auditing
*HVAC Systems' Installation & Maintenance
*Building Commissioning
*Data Networking
*Web-enabled Utility Monitoring
*Development of facility energy conservation master plans

OVERVIEW:  Responsible to produce and document superior control system designs and perform in-office testing and obtain approval for all sofware designs.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:  Develop overall strategy plan for each project based on scope, owner demands, schedules, controllers and other required functions.  Outline and estimate major tasks, monitor progress, inform other of variances.  Develop hardware applications and drawings for all supported controllers  using current tools.  Work with computers, software packages and direct digital controls.  Document design procedure.

Ability to listen and solve customer problems.  Exhibit commitment to continued growth and development.  Exhibit consistent attention to details and follow-up.  Able to work with Project Managers/Contractors to accomplish project goals.  Demonstrate good oral and written communications skills.  Self starter, creative, dedicated and well organized.

ADDITIONAL JOB SPECIFICATIONS:  Minimum four (4) year degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.  Minimum 4+ years of field experience working with various types of systems.  Above average to expert knowledge of Windows, Above average knowledge of HVAC systems.
