| Position Summary:
The Technology Coordinator will work closely with the staff of the Craft Emergency Relief Fund (CERF) to facilitate the effective use of technology by this growing and forward thinking organization. In addition to supporting administrative, fundraising and programming technology needs, the Technology Coordinator will be responsible for managing the organizations digital assets, coordinating the development and maintenance of CERFs database in Salesforce, and assisting with the development of CERFs website. This is a part-time (two days per week), in-house position.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate development of and manage implementation and upkeep of CERFs technology systems.
- Develop and oversee annual technology budget.
- Assist staff with technology needs, including various public presentations
- Assist in the planning and evaluation of a broad range of electronic strategies
Internet Functions
- Develop CERFs Internet capacity, and coordinate and implement enhancements, upgrades, testing and maintenance of CERFs websites as needed
o Facilitate the implementation of online tools to promote and assist in emergency preparedness for artists
o Facilitate the implementation of web-based scripts, forms, and instruments for efficient delivery of information and services to artists, including electronic submission forms, surveys, and evaluative instruments
o Assist with the implementation and maintenance of various online social marketing and fundraising tools.
Systems and Network Administrator Functions
- Oversee information systems and network administration:
o Play a key planning role in defining CERFs information systems needs
o Participate as internal point person in systems development decisions
o Keep abreast of changes and developments in office technology and computer systems
o Plan and implement computer security systems
o Provide hardware and software support to users
o Identify and research needs and recommend the lease or purchase of technology equipment
o Oversee daily maintenance of CERFs network
o Schedule maintenance and repair of all CERFs technology equipment
o Monitor and implement e-mail services
Database Manager Functions
- Oversee database design, development, maintenance, and accuracy
o Implement periodic upgrades, taking advantage of new capabilities that are appropriate to CERFs database needs
o Provide database reports and statistical information when systems for easy access for other staff have yet to be developed
o Track and prioritize suggested database enhancements and fixes
o Stay abreast of emerging database capabilities that may be relevant to CERFs needs
Supervision Received
General supervision is received from the Communications and Public Relations Manager

o scripting/programming as applies to implementation of web-based scripts
o office computer networks
o computer maintenance and upgrades
