The Developer/Support Technician will provide technical assistance to SalesPad Partners and Clients. They will be responsible for answering questions or resolving SalesPad issues with clients via the telephone or in person. They will also perform a variety of programming assignments that require knowledge of established programming procedures and requirements (C#). Maintain and modify the SalesPad software as determined by the Vice President of Development.
Tasks will vary depending on the Partner and the Client but will typically include the following:
-Oversee the daily performance of the SalesPad software;
-Installation and configuration of the SalesPad software and updates;
-Troubleshooting the SalesPad software by diagnosing bugs/faults;
-Problem resolution with clients; either face-to-face or over the telephone;
-Responding within a timely fashion to client concerns;
-Establishing a good working relationship with clients;
-Develop training materials and procedures regarding the proper use of SalesPad;
-Provide support documentation to clients, including procedural documentation;
-Prioritize and manage several open cases at one time.
-Code, test and troubleshoot the SalesPad software by utilizing the appropriate technology;
-Refine data and format final product;
-Maintain and modify the SalesPad software; make approved changes as prescribed by the VP of Development;
-Test and develop programming modifications;
-Write new program code using approved specifications;
-Analyze performance of the SalesPad software and take action to correct faults based on client feedback and the approval of the VP of Development;
-Maintain confidentiality with regard to the information being processed, stored or accessed in SalesPad;
-Document programming problems that are encountered and the appropriate resolution for future reference.
Job Requirements
-At least 3 Years of Programming/Support Experience
-Software troubleshooting skills, with knowledge of debugging problems
-Knowledge of programming procedures and programming languages (C# preferred)
-Ability to implement and troubleshoot programming changes and modifications
-Ability to write technical instructions on the use of programs and/or program modifications
-Ability to learn and support new systems and applications
-Results orientated attitude and strong interpersonal skills
-MUST have a degree in a Technology field
