| Position Overview
Perform task involving physical labor at heavy construction projects. Dedicated to exceeding quality standards and providing products and services of the highest caliber. Exhibits meticulous attention to detail and must be committed to accurate and high quality work.
Essential Job Functions
♦ May clean and prepare sites, dig trenches, erect and breakdown scaffolding, clean up rubble and debris and remove waste materials.
♦ May assist other craft workers including carpenters, plasterers, operating engineers and masons.
♦ Operate power and hand tools
♦ Lubricate, clean, and repair machinery, equipment and tools
♦ Load, unload, identify, and distribute building materials to the appropriate
Location according to project plans and specifications
♦ Clean and prepare construction sites to eliminate possible hazards.
♦ Dig trenches, and assist in the following, install sewer, water, and storm drain pipes, and place concrete and asphalt on roads
♦ Mix concrete using portable mixer or assist intending machinery that pumps concrete, grout, cement, sand, plaster, or stucco through a spray gun for applications to ceiling and walls
♦ Build forms for pouring concrete.
♦ Control traffic passing near, in and around work zones

♦ Perform other general duties as required or directed by the superintendent

Requirements
♦ Must pass drug screen test
♦ Must pass criminal background check
♦ Must wear all assigned PPE including steel toed boots, ear plugs. Work gloves, and safety glasses.
♦ 0-3 years experience
♦ Ability to handle large volume of work and perform multiple tasks in a fast pace environment.
♦ Ability to effectively verbally communicate
