Job Description:

Abacus In-Home Tutoring, an approved provider of supplemental educational services in Florida, is currently seeking qualified P/T tutors (with a minimum of an Associates degree and previous tutoring experience) to provide reading and math instruction to students in grades K-12. Abacus offers two models one-on-one, in home tutoring or small group instruction at safe, convenient public locations such as school campus, libraries and/or community centers. Tutors will earn between $18-20 per hour, depending on qualifications. Responsibilities include: Accepting/declining student assignments by email Making contact with parents of assigned students to arrange the weekly schedule Administering Abacus assessments to assigned students Providing instruction that is aligned to the students learning plan Submitting required progress reports and paperwork to supervisor weekly Communicating regularly with parents of assigned students, and with supervisor If you are passionate about education and enjoy making a difference in the lives of students, please email your resume.
