The Town of Laverne, OK

The Town of Laverne is taking applications for Chief of Police.  Applicants must have a high school diploma or a GED and must be CLEET certified. The qualified candidate will have excellent customer service skills and be educated in modern police tactics. Qualified candidates will have excellent organizational skills and will be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.  Qualified candidates will have supervisory experience and be goal oriented.  A degree in a related field is preferred but not mandatory. Pay for this position will be based on prior experience and education.  Benefits include health, life, dental, vision insurance, and a retirement plan.
