For 33 years, Crown Parts and Machine, Inc. has been the largest aftermarket manufacturer of parts and components for off-highway haul trucks and shovels for the mining industry. In 2006, Crown doubled the manufacturing space, hired additional machinists and increased the production capability. December 2008, H-E Parts International LLC completed the acquisition of Crown Parts and Machine. H-E Parts International is the world’s largest independent supplier of parts, remanufactured components and equipment to the global mining, quarry and heavy construction industries. This acquisition expanded Crown’s sales capacity globally. The manufacturing plant located at 1733 Highway 87 E. is being expanded to meet the growing needs of its customers.   This expansion will allow Crown to increase production of its heavy component remanufacturing division including the rebuilding of Caterpillar final drives and transmissions.

Crown is seeking a Transmission Rebuilding Supervisor to manage a new department. Candidates must have 5-10 years of Caterpillar factory/dealer experience. Supervisory experience is required.

Essential job functions include, but are not limited too:

Ø       Directly supervise all aspects of day-to-day transmission remanufacturing department to ensure that production requirements can be met.

Ø       Responsible for hiring, training, rewarding and disciplining transmission department personnel.

Ø       Being innovative, flexible and willing to research new procedures, equipment and process improvements as we grow our operation

Ø       Strong communication and reporting skills necessary

Ø       Superior mechanical and problem solving skills a must
