Girl Scouts Heart of the South is seeking a Registrar to join its team in the Tupelo Office.  The Registrar is responsible for technical duties that support membership goals.  These duties include the following: data entry, troop number distribution and transmitting membership numbers to GSUSA.  The candidate must use GSUSA procedures and systems to maintain registration files and to generate routine and special membership reports.  Also, this candidate will be required to work with Volunteers in the area of information management. The Registrar is expected to provide support and training to other council registrars, staff and volunteers.

Candidates must have a High School Diploma or GED and proven experience in customer service.  A college degree is preferred.  The candidate must be skilled in the use of the Internet, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook and Access) and be able to type 40 wpm. The Registrar should be able to multitask, work well under pressure to meet deadlines and work closely with other team members.  This candidate should have a strong math aptitude and be detail oriented. Ability to work a flexible work schedule when necessary is also required.
