Estimator:

Duties include quantity take-offs of several divisions of work to be performed by our own workers, mostly carpentry-type divisions of work. Also includes securing subcontractor and vendor pricing for new and existing bids and projects. Majority of new work performed for the state and federal government. Responsible for obtaining material quotations, subcontractor quotations, labor estimates. Also responsible for keeping organization of day-to-day estimate folders for each new bid. ORGANIZATION SKILLS A MUST. Currently utilizing very computer-friendly computerized estimating system. We are a small business with many upgrades ongoing. We have a very strong reputation with government clientele on the East Coast. We currently have several large corporations that team with our company for higher-volume ventures. Estimates range from $5000k to $15Million each project. Opportunities are endless and you could create your own destiny. Be assured that if you are good, we will want to keep you as happy as we can make you. Two owners that are very good to work for. For example; bonuses, all expense paid vacations, etc...There is a small bunch of key people that currently work for the company because they have proven that they care.
