GENERAL FUNCTION: Three days per week, position primarily responsible for performing day to day financial processes and some general operational functions.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manages and performs the processing of accounts payable and cash disbursements
- Manages and performs the accounts receivable process, including invoicing, deposits and recording cash receipts
- Process payroll and benefits, including preparation of periodic reports and filings
- Handles employee files and minor HR duties
- Prepares bank reconciliations, month-end journal entries, account reconciliations, line item coding of transactions and financial statement schedules
- Manages and performs daily accounting, monthly close accounting routines
- Manages and performs inventory tracking
- Assists with the completion of the budgeting and planning processes
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
- 3 to 5 years specific accounting and small business experience
- BS/BA in accounting or equivalent
- Must have at least 3 years of experience with Quickbooks
- Must be proficient in excel, word and powerpoint
- Manufacturing experience helpful
