Senate Builders & Construction Managers, Inc.
Plymouth Meeting, PA
Construction Managers / General Contractors
OUR HISTORY
Senate Builders & Construction Managers, Inc. (Senate) began in the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania area in 1999 when Mr. Eugene J. McNally, III, who had worked in the federal government construction business for twelve (12) years, began his own company, Senate Builders & Construction Managers, Inc. in the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania area. He is also a veteran of the United States Marine Corps.
For the next six years the company grew, working mostly on medium-scale federal government projects while gaining a reputation for quality services and reliability. The company maintains a General Contractor's license in the state of Pennsylvania.
In 2000, the company's management came to the conclusion that the firm had grown sufficiently to open a larger facility in Huntingdon Valley, Pennsylvania to conduct higher dollar volume operations for federal government clientele.
In 2002, the company concluded growth was again sufficient to advance to larger facilities located in Trevose, Pennsylvania. Further, in 2004, the owner elected to purchase a 3,500 square foot commercial office building and warehouse with personal funds. In 2006, the owner sold the 3,500 square foot commercial office building and warehouse and grew to its current location in Plymouth Meeting, Pennsylvania.
In 2005, a longtime associate of the construction industry, Edward T. Bennett, became a full partner in the corporation where he currently serves as Vice President. His duties, while many, primarily include the everyday management of the corporate financials to include tax management.
Under the leadership, dedication and entrepreneurial spirit of these individuals, the Company has flourished and been transformed from its modest beginnings as a small general contractor, in 1999, into the diversified multi-million dollar company it is today. Eugene J. McNally, III and Edward T. Bennett are involved in almost every aspect of the construction industry from the supply of building materials to the construction of multi-million dollar construction projects.
Integrity, expertise, careful planning, sound financial management, and old-fashioned hard work have resulted in the company's impressive record of consistent growth. The company has built its reputation and assembled its assets with prudence and due care. Today's corporate philosophy is the same as the company's founding principle "Commitment to quality, service and value for our customers".
Throughout the last seven years, Senate has maintained its commitment to all its customers, large and small. We have been receptive to the changing needs of our customers and have responded to these changes. We have added numerous services and divisions over the past several years and now specialize in construction (general contracting, project and construction management).
