General Manager- Commercial Roofing ---Residential Roofing experience is a must to be considered--- Location: Denver, CO Pay: $75-100k base Direct hire with full benefits Established and growing roofing company is currently looking to hire a residential operations manager with experience in TPO, EDPM, PVC and other forms of roofing systems. They will be responsible for generating sales, assembling a staff, making sure the jobs are installed correctly and all the basic functions of running an office. Our focus will be Residential new construction, re-roof and service work. Reliability and accountability are a must! If you are a General Manager- Commercial Roofing with experience, please read on! What You Will Be Doing The day to day duties will vary depending on the needs of the business, some of the responsibilities include: Meet or exceed corporate goals while maintaining desired profit margins. Communicate with Human Resources and Marketing on staffing needs and coordinate an action plan for fulfilling all open positions. Oversee office operational needs. Act as project manager when the job requires. Identify and pursue opportunities for roof replacements, recovers, and coatings. Act as an estimator when needed Build and maintain a positive brand experience Periodically meet with upper management to review progress and identify areas of opportunity. Periodically conduct performance reviews Proactively work with the team on improving and streamlining processes and workflows in the office, with corporate and out in the field. Build and maintain credibility with both employees and customers. What You Need for this Position More Than 5 Years of experience and knowledge of: 5+ years in roofing, Residential is a major plus Proven track record of managing and developing people. Ability to multi-task while working in a fast-paced environment. Excellent presentation, communication, writing, and listening skills. Superior time management and organizational skills. Bachelors degree strongly preferred, but not required. Willingness to travel if needed. Must possess a valid drivers license. The selected candidate will be required to pass a pre-employment drug test and criminal history background check.
