    This position is responsible for coordinate all shipments for the stone division

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    • Coordinate all shipments for the stone division
    • Maintenance and utilization of TransVM and other logistics applications
    • Ensure all shipments are compliant with interstate traffic laws and regulations
    • Respond to shipping complaints, lost items, and damages
    • Track and report results
    • Collaborate with other departments to integrate logistics with company processes
    • Assist customer service, distribution management, and procurement teams when needed
    • Ensures safe work practices within the department
    • Will promote the use of the most efficient and economical freight logistics companies, freight forwarders, and will develop a positive working relationship with these freight service suppliers
    • Other job duties as assigned

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

    • Previous experience in relevant position
    • Proficient in computer skills, including microsoft
    • Ability to determine priorities
    • Ability to work independently
    • Must be detail orientated
    • Ability to communicate effectively with other departments

    EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

    • Bachelor or similar
    • Highschool degree
    • 2 years of experience

    ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT

    The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 47 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
