Position Summary
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform work in a safe manner by following all safety rules and providing recommendations to help make PCC a safe work environment.
- Manage technical projects focused on improving wax processes and quality, utilize Six Sigma and Lean tools to aid in this effort.
- Support production to ensure attainment of business goals, including addressing quality and productivity concerns and working with front-line employees to improve wax processes.
- Coordinate engineering trials and ensure timely movement of the parts through the shop, initiate corrections and adjustments required in a timely manner.
- Modify work instructions and/or write tool orders to correct and improve parts.
- Assist in identifying and managing capital projects in the front-end areas. Ensure projects are completed on time and within the approved capital budget.
- Manage daily technical issues as appropriate to ensure a consistent and reliable product.
- Perform necessary technical evaluations to address any customer concern. Investigate claims and document findings.
- Provide the necessary technical support as required to other areas of the organization.
Experience and Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, preferably in Metallurgical Engineering or Material Science.
- 3 - 5 years of experience in investment casting industry preferred.
Requirements:

- Strong technical knowledge, including knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance (GD&T) and drawing interpretation.
- Basic understanding of cast products and processes.
