    This position works as part of an integrated marketing & communications team designed to provide cross-functional marketing expertise to the business with a focus on state programs (Medicaid, Child Health Plus, HARP, and Essential Plan). Overall team objectives include but are not limited to identifying, developing, and utilizing the most appropriate tactics to reach the targeted audience; create, plan, and provide marketing solutions designed to help acquire new membership and retain existing members; and to use marketing tools and solutions to expand our brand exposure.

    Job responsibilities include:

    - Manage marketing campaigns from initial development to execution and tracking/reporting

    - Facilitate ongoing planning of marketing needs and updates to marketing materials

    - Identify and implement new tactics to achieve business objectives

    - Optimize marketing efforts through interactions with the business and customers

    - Maintain communication and brand standards in all materials

    - Provide analysis and reporting as required

    - Perform other duties as assigned

    POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

    Minimum Education:

    BA/BS in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related-field.

    Equivalent amount of education and directly related experience may be considered.

    Minimum Experience:

    3 - 5 years' experience in Corporate Communications and/or Marketing. Equivalent amount of education and directly related experience may be considered.

    Relevant experience in the health insurance/health care industry and/or with growth marketing strategies strongly preferred.

    Required Skills:
  • Proficiency in MS Office software: Word/Outlook/PowerPoint/Excel
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills including - written, verbal, and interpersonal
  • Strategic thinker with strong execution skills
  • Ability to be consultative and build consensus on initiatives
  • Strong project and time management skills
  • Proven ability to keep projects on schedule and on budget
  • Demonstrated ability to create, review, and edit copy for various mediums
  • Demonstrated ability to create, edit, and manage presentation development
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team as well as independently
  • Able to occasionally work irregular hours and be available for occasional travel
