    Environmental, Health and Safety (EH&S) SpecialistWe are currently seeking an Environment, Health, and Safety (EH&S) Specialist to join our Merck Account team.Position DescriptionWe are currently seeking an Environment, Health and Safety Specialist to join our offices located in the West Point, PA area. The EH&S Specialist position will assist with driving the execution of JLL EHS initiatives and assure regulatory compliance.ResponsibilitiesProvide for compliance assurance with Client(s), JLL and regulatory requirements regarding environmental health and safety.Review and approve Job Hazard Analyses for defined critical tasks.Maintain a collaborative partnership with client(s) EHS organization.Provide construction and project EHS oversightReview/approve JSAs and Contractor HASPsProvide environmental recordkeeping, guidance and compliance supervisionProvide for emergency response leadership as defined by Client(s) and JLL.Inspect vendor operations using prescribed protocols.Collaborate with JLL vendor partners to assure they operate their businesses in compliance with Client(s) and JLL requirements while on-site.Conduct EHS training as required.Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures and EHS Management Systems assuring EHS compliance.Perform hazard assessments and evaluations; implement risk reduction/mitigation strategies as appropriate.Drive implementation of EHS initiatives regarding high risk activities such as Confined Space Entry, Electrical Safety, LO/TO and Elevated Work.Support or lead incident investigations including root cause analysis if required.Provide for EHS performance data contributing to account-wide EHS performance dashboard.Assess and identify appropriate resources and equipment necessary to fully support EH&S objectives.Support JLL EHS Leadership on projects related to areas of responsibility.QualificationsA degree in occupational safety, safety management or relevant field; relevant professional certifications a plus.A minimum of three years of experience in the implementation and management of EHS programs and management systems, preferably within facility operations. EHS experience in pharmaceutical, construction, chemical, research or maintenance operations is highly desirable.Success working with subcontractors/vendors supporting mutual safety objectives.Proven track record of success executing high hazard prevention programs; specifically: LO/TO, electrical safety, confined space entry, and fall protection.A proven track record managing regulatory compliance.JLL Is an Equal Opportunity EmployerJLL is committed to developing and maintaining a diverse workforce.
